Default "My" little Island

Well I took some photos of Mersea, I've not worked out how to get them on here without permanently resizing them so here is the link. Enjoy

i'd really like to get into photography - with this on my doorstep who can blame me eh?!
I am looking for a better camera and thought thats what you needed to take good photos. Til I read that it doesn't matter how good the camera if you get the shot and the lighting etc wrong. Still there are many things i cant do with this camrea - i need a good zoom etc!

Must admit to a bit of cheating - Kodak has a great "enhancing" program But eventually when i learn about Lighting etc I might be able to take some without cheating

Great pictures, what lovely scenery.

A good camera does help, using an slr or dslr camera gives you so much flexibilty to change the lens size for given situations, also allows you to be more selective using apperture for sharpness and timing / exposure settings for running water scenes etc...
