Default infection, ggrrrr!

hey everyone, still not back in work after my op, and im loving in, but went to the docotrs today to get a sick paper, explained that the incision in my belly button is playing up, and i got to get the stitches out asap, so im booked in for friday. they are dissolvable stitches, but are causing an infection, the skin is very red, sore and pussy, its not pretty at all, lol! so just a little update for you all.
the doctor explained to me that i got mild endometriosis (i can never spell that!) so im not sure where i go from here know, hopefully theres treatments out there for it, but i havent done much research yet, so fingers crossed ill be fine one these damn stitches are out, grrrr, lol!

sorry to hear your having problems , I ws alergic to the sterie strips they used after my op the stitches were fine it was the glue on the strips so I know how you feel, hope you get better soon

sorry to hear that aswell, hopefully it will go fine and u will be ok. normally we all ask for people to post pics on here....but u can sit out of this one

Poor you

Hope you are feeling better once the stitches are out!

There are quite a few cures for endometrosis, starting from the mirena coil and also laser treatment! I do believe that if its quite mild then there is a tablet form of treatment (though I have heard reports that its not too successful)

Fingers crossed it all works out fine for you!

i have been wondering about the treatments, but didnt ask the doctor today i forgot in the faffle about my belly button, lol, ill be called for an appointment up the hospital within 6 weeks though, so hopefully ill have my list of questions ready for the doctor then... as its only mild, im hoping its been caught in time!

thanks all for your kind thoughts!

im loving being on here through the day aswell, lol, its a rare treat,.... see being ill is good for something, hehe x
