Default 10 K run today

we both entered the 10K, but due to health probs i couldnt do it!

Paul finished in 42 mins, he was 200th out of 2000!

He ran for the premature baby unit and raised £1400. Am disappointed I didnt do it, but watch this space!

What a fantasic charity to run for.

I think the work the special care baby units do is amazing.

i owe the prem baby units so much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they saved the lives of all of my children who were all prem

james was 4 weeks prem
stacie was 5 weeks prem
sarah unfortunatly died
kathryn was almost 12 weeks prem
and kevin 8 weeks prem

Paul you should be very proud of yourself
Wendy there is always next year

I couldnt run a bath at the moment, but hoping to be back in form soon!

None of us have had prem babies, but thought it was a worthwhile cause.

Hi Wendy,

My son was born 8 weeks premature weighing only 3lb 7oz (10 years ago), but thanks to the dedication of the special care baby unit he was strong enough to leave 4 weeeks before his due date, thankfully he wasnt a dependant prem baby, but non the less they are such a dedicated section of the maternity unit in the hospital and have my utmost respect for the lives they handle and touch with their caring nature.
