Sheldon, Swarley and Sparacus outside!
They had a great time out exploring their new outdoor enclosure today I think they approve.... dont you...
All huddled together Swarley ran to hide... but couldnt resist peeking out Sheldon basking up top, Swarley down below and Spartacus eating of course Spartacus on the slender plantain Spartacus exploring, look how teeny he looks! If you want to see more pictures from today look here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...1&l=f32fd2ff1c hope you enjoyed them! Louise

Brilliant! Excellent hides! as said just monitor how it holds up in the rain and make sure the hides dont flood.

Thanks there are big holes under it so should drain well but i will check, for now they are only going out while i'm home so we have plenty of time to monitor when the April showers hit :P
i would love to say i grew it myself.... lol, no my front lawn is covered in the stuff! so the hubby went out with a spade and dug out a plantain, catsear and icyplant for me He went a bit far.... practically dug up half the lawn getting out one weed!

Nice enclosure!
They look so tiny sat on the pot. I'm also jealous of the plantain. I always have celandine and other unsuitable weeds growing!

they look small because they are! Sheldon is 7cm, Swarley is 6cm and Spartacus is 5cm Seeing them in the enclosure really puts a perspective on how small they are and how big the enclosure is (even though its really not that big!)
As for the plantain.. i guess im very lucky, its their favourtie weed and i never noticed before but it is growing EVERYWHERE in my big front garden, along with catsear. i just have little in the way of variety growing because most things are not edible, but im working on it.. the seeds are outside growing! Just have to add another pic of Spartacus from today... another peek-a-boo moment
