Default strange patch on tail

Hi I just brought my Map turtle Splosh indoors for the winter and I noticed there is a strange looking light coloured patch halfway along his tail, I thought it could be scar tissue from an injury aquired sometime during the summer? Has anyone seen something like this before?

Without at least a picture, nobody can tell what it is, I am afraid.

actually I feel worried about the turtle the more I watch it the more I notice things that are wrong there is the patch on the tail, there seems to be a bump in the right hand side of the carapeice, and there was a bubble on his nose (only seen the one though so I'm keeping an eye on that).

I can understand that the tail might be the result of an injury but what could have caused the shell bump? I thought that shell problems were to do with lack of vitamin D3 but he's been outside in strong sunlight all summer

I know nothing about turtles, but would worry if a bump suddenly appeared. It could be an
infection of some sort. Might be worth a visit to the vets.

Are you talking about the bump in the middle towards his head, if so dont worry mate many maps have up to three or four of these serrates down the middle of the carapace
