Reluctant rehoming: 8 y/o Male Horsfield
I'm reluctantly (and sadly) putting my Horsfield up for rehoming. I've owned him for around two years, originally bought him from an owner on this forum in 2010. He is very healthy, walks (and runs!) tall and is very energetic, he has been fed on a weed-based diet with limestone flour and Nutrobal.
I have a long-term illness and have been feeling like I can't give him the attention a level of care that he deserves, I'd rather he go to someone who can give him the best life possible. I am only willing to rehome him with experienced owners. I'm located in Tyne and Wear but would be willing to travel a reasonable distance in order to get him to a good home. I also have a UV lamp and bulb that I can provide if you want that too. Thanks, Steve. P.S. His name is Bruce! |

That is a lovely looking male horsfield, im tempted, i have 3 females and a 5 month old hatchling, one of my juveniles im a bit suspiscious of being male but has been sexed as female.....anyway sorry for waffling on, i am currently setting up an outside enclosure for my large adult female, nearly finished the shed, have a seperate enclosure for my 2 juvenile females but will eventually go in with my adult, and another seperate one for the hatchling. Unless youv already contacted Naturalis and he wants him, but if not then i may be able to take him ill have a good think about it, please post some more pics and what is his size and weight xand how soon you need to rehome x

Thanks everyone, it's something I've been thinking about for a while, even last year. I've recently had to cut my hours at work due to things getting on top of me (not literally, I've had no luck in that area ) and I was going to post this thread back then. I just feel it's unfair on Bruce, I can't give him the attention he deserves
Thanks to the people who PMd me, I have now replied to your messages. |
