I don't mind what mine is. I only have 1 currently. May get a horsfield next so it wouldn't matter male or female as they can't live together anyway
Though, would it be an issue if they were free roaming together for short periods or on the same area at different times? Being different species I mean. x

I already have a juvenile un-sexed so I wanted to try get a female to make life easier

I agree with Ozric,

My males are very active, have great characters and always the first to come and see you. The reason I asked about sub species is, I have loads of hatchling THHercs.

Ahh ok cool, I love the hercs too. I am familiar with them from between 20 and 35 years ago, as a child we used to spend extended holidays not too far from Budva in what used to be Yugoslavia. Obviously they were roaming around free back then.
