I spotted one on there that I didn't know was torty friendly.
Abutilon.. This is an interesting one I hadn't heard of before - well I had heard of Kentish Belle but not its proper name. Grows and flowers all winter http://www.telegraph.co.uk/gardening...ish-Belle.html |

Thanks so much, Linda, for posting the link -- and thanks to everyone for the compliments too!
We're uploading new entries every day, so if that plant you're looking for isn't there now, let us know. I know there are some really knowledgeable people on Shelled Warriors, and we really welcome criticism (and do let us know if you think we've got something wrong), suggestions for things we can add, and advice. You can always contact us on: contact@thetortoisetable.org.uk or via the Garden Shed chat forum on the website. Nina, on behalf of The Tortoise Table Group |

We sort of had to reach a happy medium on the What to look out for this Month slide show, as the available plants in Kent are not at all like the available plants in Aberdeen (or in Florida). Helen is in Yorkshire and I'm in Oxford, and we kept ringing each other to say -- I've still got campanula in flower here, do you?

I've been hoping someone would make a site like this as I'm clueless with flowers!!
Thanks very much

I still have Campanula in flower and I'm north of the border but most annual weeds here arrive a month later and disappear a month earlier than in Kent. I know from what people are finding in March and October in Kent compared to here which is 400 miles north
