I have just seen this part 'Did you know that plants have feelings?... they feel pain and all that'.

EJ, why do you feel that you have to suck the life out of what someone is expressing. You know what I meant, I am not trying to belittle anyone, just make an observation, maybe I shall keep my observations to myself.

sashimi... ummm so good.

I'll never forget a video I viewed as a kid... 1969... where a person found a softshell... lopped off the head and drank the contents. I seem to remember it was sweadish... but that doesn't make sense.

Needless to say... how can a person impose ones values on another culture.

Very true Linda, and all of this is taking away from the topic of discussion.

Emmykins, I know what you mean, I couldn't even stomach watching to the end.

I agree this is terrible, I don't know what else to say

I once watched a similar video about dogs in eastern Europe where they would skin the dogs alive and then just leave them at the side of the road. As an animal lover it's hard to understand how people could do this kind of thing.

It's no different than how people treat fish in this country, they pack them in ice and transport them, then gut them alive. We all love tortoises and turtles, and thats why we all hate it, but if we liked fish we'd feel exactly the same about that. The two are no different and we all happily eat fish.
