Default Red Foot Vivarium Set up Ideas

Heya everyone,

Can i see photos of vivarium set ups so that i can get ideas what to buy tomorrow from the reptile shop!
Mines very empty at the moment (i only got her Sunday) and shes got a hide and a water and food bowl...Im going to get a bigger water bowl and then what else?

Were you looking to get substrate? Do you have lights?

Any plants that are safe for them to eat are fine in the viv. Maybe a few more hides. Might find some ideas here http://www.shelledwarriors.co.uk/for...ead.php?t=4941

It is best to keep it simple to give the tortoise maximum room to roam. If you'd like greenery... go for fake plants. Live plants are very difficult to maintain in a viv.

Sorry Ed I disagree. Fake plants can be eaten by larger Red Foots and by having plants it will increase the humdity-obviously to plant them you do need soil in the substrate though. I have hibiscus, strawberry and lavendar plants and am adding a few more.
