Feeling sad
Hey,
I've just come back from the vets without my Dobbie (aka Toffee) It was the right time but I still feel sad. I know he was "only" a hamster but he was my friend. He was 2 years and 9 months but was so just elderly that his quality of life was just not there. RIP my little friend and thank you for the memories xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Oh Row, I'm so sorry for you. I know the time was approaching and you did the kindest thing for him but it's such a hard thing to do. Thinking of you and thanks for sharing great photos and little stories about your little chap. I feel I've got to know a little of him too. Rest in peace little Toffee/Dobbie.
Take care Row. x

Thank you both. I feel so silly being upset but he was a dear little thing and with my OH away Monday to Friday he was buddy in the evenings. I'm such a softie I need to pull myself together.

Ohhh I'm sorry to hear that. I have had lots of hamsters over the years and was really upset when I lost them. You get attached to any animal in your care. Give another one a good home!!!!

So sorry to hear that Row, as everyone says they are lovely wee things but they can take up a big space in your heart!
I am sure he had a wonderful life with you!
