Is 8 grammes small
is 8 grammes small for a hermanni boettgeri hatchling? Although she(?) has been putting on weight but its only 2-3 grammes per month. She was born in October does this sound about right? she is now 19 grammes.

Think it is on the smallish side. One of my Marginated hatchlings hatched at 8 grams (some siblings hatched at 16) but she is now neck & neck with the heaviest & yours is gaining weight which is a good sign.

Was she 8g when she hatched? Or has she only gained 8g?

It sounds like it should of put more weight on than that.
One of my hatchlings was a preemie and hatched at 10g towards the end of September weighed her last month and she's at 40.8g. Oops just realised it's February so they were weighed in December. Last edited by Herpard; 03-02-2013 at 10:26 PM. |
