That's the advantage of a viv... the ballast of the UV source probably provides sufficient heat for that enclosure.
As slow as leopards can grow that enclosure could last well over 5 years for a hatchling to the size where larger accomodations would be necessary. Quote:

Hmmm Ed my Ralph is 9.5" and is 4 so would of already out grown that viv. What about space to move?

yeh probably doesn't need heat the size :0( of that viv the light would probably be sufficient. hopefully someone will buy him and put him in a larger viv.

I've got 2 leopards... one that is 4 years old at 4 inches and one that is at least 10 years old at 4 inches... hmmm... kinda depends doesn't it.
I've also had 4 year olds that have laid eggs... that hatched. As a rule... Leopards do not grow quickly... but can.

Cared for a little better... that viv should last a few more years for that tortoise.
Regardless... I'm sure it'll be 'saved'... especially at that price.
