eyes open during hibernation
For some reason my tortoise has had her eyes open all the way through hibernation(about 5 days) and its starting to freak me out, she is responsive to touch. The temp is averaging 5 celsius. I've increased the humidity in the fridge. Should I bring her out of hibernation? Will having her eyes open cause lasting damage?

I have heard of this before. Someone had the same problem on another forum. Do you have a glass fronted door on your fridge? I was wondering as the person who had the same problem did and I think it had something to do with the light. When they covered the door up the tort closed it's eyes. I'm sure an expert will be here soon to help you out
