Kimbo's Reptile World
Hi Everyone,
Is anyone experiencing problems with Kimbo's Reptile World? My 120w Mega-Ray was only 2 months old and went off! Darren confirmed it was covered under warranty and said a replacement bulb would be sent out to me 11 days ago. As yet, I have not received it!!!!!!!!!! I have rang on numerous occassions and also sent numerous emails since the original communication. However, I have not received a response to any of them. This is not the type of customer service I would expect. As you can imagine, I am very concerned as my tortoises have had no light now for 11 days. Does anyone have an alternative contact for Darren/Kimbos Reptile World as I need to get this sorted as quickly as possible. Thankyou in anticipation. Kevin |

Darren (Dazza) has been back on this forum recently so an option would be to PM him or visitor message him on here. One would hope that he will also see this thread that you have done. He was on here last week, Kevin so Im pretty sure he will be back around sometime this week (I know this doesnt help you right NOW) but with any luck he will get back to you. Totally understand your frustration though. xx

Everyone,
Panic over!!!!!! I received an email from Darren yesterday advising that they had been working over the weekend to clear the backlog of orders and I should be receiving my replacement bulb in the next day or two. Regards Kevin |

Hi Kevin if your ever waiting for a bulb, use a 100-150w normal screw in spot bulb to get by.

I got my 160W megaray from Darren recently along with bulb holder etc and everything was sent out promptly. I actually thought when it arrived it wasn't working and Darren was great; no problem sending a replacement and I didn't even have to return the bulb. Anyway it was working - the problem lay at my end!!!

What are the bulbs like? I have just ordered the 160w Mega-Ray from them as I’m fed up of changing the solar-glow every 3 to 4 months
