Newbie saying hello!
Hi!
My name is Tam and I am married to Phil with a 6 month old son Sam. I grew up having a variety of pets which included two Hermanns and one spur thighed tortoise so recently I managed to persuade my husband that we wanted some torts as well!! We already have a bit of a menagerie, most of our pets have been rescued at one point or another. We have two dogs, a lab cross and a mini schnauzer, 4 cats, all moggies, one parrot, a black headed caique, a netherland dwarf rabbit, four ducks, four sheep (as you do!) and two Hermanns tortoises. I also have some ex-racing pigeons though these are currently living with my parents in Warwickshire, we are up in Lancashire. I came across this site whilst searching for bits on ebay and am very glad to have found it and look forward to getting to know people! |

Thanks very much for the welcome!
Wildlifewarrior, I've had a quick look at photos I have online and here are some of the animals, it could be a long post! No recent sheep pictures uploaded as yet apart from on facebook but I can't get that album to show so I'll upload some this evening hopefully! Anyway, here are a few of the menagerie... Willow, our oldest cat Molly, our next oldest caught staring at our rabbit Buck! Bonnie, our schnauzer in full coat Cassey, our crossbreed PeeKay the parrot, he doesn't like the camera! That's all I can find but I'll post more later! |

And finally, our two younger cats; Tink the larger one and Maddy the smaller
A couple of the ducks, the babies went to another home, the brown one is sadly no longer with us but we have others like her. Daisy the white one was a gradution present 8 years ago and is still doing well! I've posted pictures of the torts on here already but to put all the creatures together, the first is Harriet and the second Houdini. Named for obvious reasons even though my mother was particularly disappointed we didn't give them Greek names! |
