Aaaahhhh stairs!!!
Ok I so did not know tortoises could climb the stairs! :-/
My hubby just found Absolem on the third step! How on earth he got there is beyond me, it carpet so he must got a bit of grip and pulled himself up?! My son Ozzie's baby gate is now back up! He's a little devil, it's a good job he's cute hehe Hope your all ok, basking in the beautiful sunshine Ames xXx |

I can't even blame the kids, they were outside playing, not that they would do that but it did cross my mind Haha! |

I have never seen my tortoise do any sort of climbing! but my Aunt has told me tale of how her tortoise once "took on the stairs" as she put it lol! so it could be true.

My big horsfield did the same one day, she got halfway up the stairs

I'm glad it's not just mine then that can do it, it seemed really unlikely he'd be able to actually pull himself up but knowing others can mean it wasn't the ghosts haha!
Baby gate will definately stay shut when he's out for a wander |
