Giant toe nail..!!

My kids were off school today for a training day and my daughter Freyja had a friend over for the day...she has never seen a tortoise up close before and tickled me with the line - 'ooh it feels like a giant toe nail!'
it's made me giggle all day

anyone else had anyone say anything funny about their tortoises?

Yeh my son said the skin on their necks looks like foreskin especially when they put ther heads in it ha ha, hes 25 he should know better, did make me laugh tho x

So did my sons. They even call my daughters tortoise "willy head" which as u can imagine absolutely repulses my 13 year old ha ha
