Op all done
I came in at 8am had my op at 9.30. For major surgery, I feel great. I've had lunch and a light evening meal of soup and poached egg on toast. I made sure it was free range.
I'm in a private hospital, the Spire in Sussex. It's very plush and I'm treated like royalty, all on the NHS. My daughter has informed me that Millie, my chicken who was at deaths door 2 days ago, is doing fine. Still a bit sleepy but soon perks up when someone opens the back door. I think luck is shinning down on me at the moment. I might bet on a horse. The only downside is that my veins again played hide and seek. The anesthetist tried to put the cannula in and bust the vein. I swear I was a stone in a former life.

You suggesting I'm ugly with big lips? Actually, that depends on which way you look at it.

Glad to hear it went well. Hope you make it home soon. I always think you heal quicker at home.
Chook?? Is that a southern slang us northerners aren't allowed to know about?

I have only ever bet on the grand national but had to stop as it wasn't fair on the horse I backed, they always lost in spectacular fashion. I used to wonder if the jockeys checked if I had bet on them before the race and knew they were going to lose.
