Habranthus is a genus of plants I was interested in years ago about the time Internet accounts and usernames took off - guess I just stuck with it because it's easy to remember.

Not sure really. I like the idea of becoming a pagan but don't have time or the inclination to do any of the worship, so calling myself pagan queen is as close as I'm gonna get. Plus its so hard to find names that aren't taken on the net and for a while this one worked well. Phoenix was my last name of choice but so many people use that now I had to find something else.
Do I win the prize for the most rambling and boring reason

Whilst at Uni studying Fine Art a few years ago I became mates with, and shared a studio space with another "mature" student. Our tutor said we were like a couple of little old ladies tucked away in our little cubby-hole. We though he meant creative geniuses like Gilbert and George (the artists) but he said no, more like Hinge and Bracket (Google 'em youngsters). Nice! The names Ethel and Edna evolved from that. Two crotchety, grumpy old women. When we graduated we were going to set up in business together under that name. Sadly that didn't happen (but that's another long-winded, boring waffle), but I have nabbed the name as a username on a couple of forums, and I am to be found lurking in various creative corners of the 'net as "ethel and edna's tearoom". See?! I win the boring-ness award. |

I choose this name because it is a name of Tortoise Pokemon, the final evolution of Turtwig, one of the starters in some past Pokemon Generations. It is a proper land Tortoise pokemon, strong and stready. My children love this game, I used to follow it but now dont have enough time.
Turtwig:

My name is Corina but most people shorten it to Cre hence the name and also because my hubby bought me a *** CRE number plate for my car.
