Viv I don't keep all my hatchlings, I'd be over run . There is a pretty big market here, though I am going to keep 2 of these guys.

Thanks TT for the signature it's awesome

I was going to say nice signature thought you'd been busy crafting one!!!

Out of interest do you have to advertise locally and do people travel miles to come and buy one off you? Cos over here with our country being so small we can access the torties for sale anywhere in GB!! Hope you dont mind me asking its fascinating with your country being so big!!! lol

No problem Viv . I have had people drive about 3 hours to buy a tortoise from me, though almost all of the time I have to ship them. I've shipped as far as California and Washington state. Been shipping for 7 years now and it's been fine so far. You just have to keep a few things in mind when you ship. I've never had a turtle or tortoise have any trouble. Most people are amazed that the little guys eat right out of the box. This is going to make this long but here's how I ship in pictures.

Dan, those are interesting and incredible. Amazing how they don't resemble the adults much at all. I have a few darker ones but one pair of mine are so brightly colored yellow that I wonder what their hatchlings are going to look like.

Your Welcome Viv .

That's one of the ones I'm keeping Becks . Not sure about the other one yet. I do have a TT signature , though mine isn't as risque as your's

Thanks Louise

Chris babies from yours would probably look just like mine. They start out kind of dark, like Egyptians, then change color as they get older. Here's a couple of pictures of the parents.

The female

The male

Lovely pics Dan, and very infomative the way you package your tortoises.

Its amazing how much the babies change when you compare them to the adults.

I would have picked the one with the extra scutes too, he / she is individual and easily recognisable.
