Default The lost tortoise of Longvuille is home!

Amazing news my boy is home! My phone rang while I was walking round M+S this afternoon and the man on the other end said 'I'm outside your house and I have your tortoise with me.' Under an hour later the boy was walking across his enclosure straight to his house - just a little check that he really was himself. He knew where he was and where he was going - with a detour only to eat a few leaves from a tempting little plant on the way - will post picture after I download it from my camera.

Thanks to everyone for their support and good wishes - I always said that if good will could get him home he'd be there - well he is now!

Absolutely brilliant, its nice to hear that someone has had success in getting thier torty back. You read of so many that go missing and dont return.

After the last three months when I haven't passed a day without thinking about what might be happening to Lucy and trying to think about what else I could do to get him home - and fearing there was nothing. I really feel for the agonies of all of us still grieving for lost tortoises - and thinking about what else might help the system/s of tracking them down...
