Would this lamp be ok ?

Im setting up a tort table for my torts. Just wondering if this lamp would give enough heat and be okay for my torts? thanks

I have that lamp but the bigger one at 21cm (medium) but do you know that's just the bulbholder and the bulb isn't included?

I have the Exo Terra Solar Glo 125watt bulb to go with it which is the mercury vapour UVB/Heat combined bulb http://www.shelledwarriorsshop.co.uk...-one-743-p.asp

You will also be able to use it with a heat bulb, doesn't have to be the all-in-one bulbs but then you'd need a UVB light too

Im not to sure but you would have to get a uv lamp aswell as tortoises need uv aswell as heat. You should be aiming for the temps to be about 32c under the basking lamp. I use a combined lamp which gives out heat and uv. Ive got the megarays 100w you can get this from kimbos reptile shop sorry i dont no how to add the link hopefully someone who knows how will be along soon. You will also need to get a lamp holder.

Can you not buy a lamp holder in SW shop I think around about the same price?

Hiya the link you gave is for the lamp holder only you need to purchase the bulb seperate. They are very good holders
