Let it soak for 10mins, then squeezed access water out and he loved it!

always a good high fiber food to have and will keep for ages in a container, but as its mostly fiber it can be fed all the time added to the greenery and a little goes a long way.

nice picky mark, and always good to hear experiences as I was a little surprised at how mushy yukky it was...but then I am a real fan of weeds but as PG says impressed how long it keeps in containers and is great for me as a back up plan - peace of mind, CB

Hi Cb, I did try it dry, but he turned his nose up at it ...... with water it bonds together quite nice, not too wet, not too dry.

how old jonathan do you think they can be to have the normal pre alpin or shall I just ground it up as suggested? CB

The Pre Alpin people say that Baby is suitable to feed to a tortoise up to 200g but I don't think they give guidance otherwise.

TBH I'm not at all sure but I'd say they don't need to be anywhere near 200g to eat the standard one.

My two eat the adult type and i need to order some more - can anybody remember what the cob one is called as for some reason they prefer that one - i order the trial size one through SW on Ebay as a little goes a long way with small torts

I've been using this for some months now, once or twice a week, given along with the usual weeds/plants/flowers. Seems good and they will eat it, but they don't like it enough to over eat like mad. (a good thing in my book)
