25g alligator snapping turtle in West Midlands
This has made over 10 Newspaper headlines today
http://www.oxfordtimes.co.uk/news/na..._giant_turtle/ An angler fishing for carp at a reservoir got the shock of his life when he landed a giant North American turtle. The 25kg alligator snapping turtle, which is around two feet long, was snared by Steve Bellion, 23, at Earlswood Lakes near Solihull, West Midlands. Makes a change from terrapins in the ponds

I bet it was quite scary for the turtle too! She is beautiful. They eat a lot of plants you know. Its not all ducks and small children.

Is that a big size for a female Paul? As I understood it the females are considerably smaller than the males.
