February 2010 tortoise meeting

Welcome to the first of the 2010 tortoise, terrapin and turtle meetings, held in Keston in Kent (London Borough of Bromley). Why not come along and learn more about tortoises, terrapins and turtles. Meet people with similar interests in a friendly and relaxed environment. Listen to talks, exchange ideas and swap friendly advice on every aspect of tortoise keeping. All ages welcome.

Just Me and my Tortoise is a voluntary tortoise, terrapin and turtle group that covers the whole of Kent and London and provides support, education and helps rescue and re-home Chelonia. In 2009 some 256 people attended our meetings and we re-homed 45 Chelonia.

It is free to join us and you do not have to live in the area to come along to our meetings.

Here are the details of the February 2010 Just Me and my Tortoise meeting:

Sunday 28th February at 2pm
General look at indoor and outdoor housing/set-ups for tortoises, terrapins and turtles with items for sale (books, vitamins, houses, Reptoboost, vermiculite, cuttlefish, calcium, plants, seeds etc).

Venue: Keston Village Hall, Heathfield Road, Kent BR2 6BG
£2 per person (£1 per child)
Includes refreshments and cake

(Please do not bring tortoises, terrapins or turtles along to the meeting)

I had asked for photos of outdoor and indoor set ups to share, and we had many and they are all great.
