new
hi new to this, have a 5 year old russian horsefield totoise, lov him, he so funny, had him 10 months, not sure if this is the place to ask but he was lively in the summer quieter in winter but awake and eating everyday however for the last week he has been totally hyper all day every day for about 10-12 hours only having a few mins break at a time, he is eating well and appears ok, is this normal after the winter spell as im worried. s dunbar

Hello and welcome, mine are Hermanns and have been far more active since this warmer spell we've been having. Someone will answer your question eventually, I'm quite new to it too

Hi and welcome! I think your tortoise is feeling that spring is coming!Not sure of course.Mine was pretty active during the winter but now last few days he's even more lively.Someone here will tell you more.

Hello and welcome. I have 2 Hermanns and they are eating so much at the moment. I'm putting handfuls of food in and they are diving on it and eating it in a few minuites so I go and get them some more and they eat that just as quick. Must be having a growing spurt or something.
Horsefield are a different tortoise I know but they do have good appitites. |
