hello and welcome i had the same prob have you got zone arlet or firewall
 if so you need to turn it off it worked for me

you have to right click on the icon and it will say do you want to shut down

Oh yes so it does!
Computer support and tort help all in one place.... what a forum eh?! Can someone advise me on which thread would be best for asking hibernation questions? Its all a bit daunting to a newbie and I dont want to upset the regulars.... |

The mediterranean tort section is best, but if you read through threads there you will find hibernation info already
