Default Hi! I Am In Juneau, Alaska.

Hello. I am in Juneau, Alaska. I don't have any tortoises yet but hope to in the future. I had turtles about 45 years ago. This is a great sight. I am really excited because I know the English people are great pet owners. Juneau is located in northern Southeast Alaska. Our weather has been terrible all summer( April -August), cool and wet. Again, great to be here.

Hi junoak, great you found the forum, what sort of tortoises are you thinking of having?

Look forward to seeing them when you get them.. We had a great start to the summer July was exceptional, sun, sun, sun, then when the kids broke up for school the weather changed and August has been rain, rain, rain!!!!

I was thinking of a Russian Tortoise. That may be a few years. I am not sure. There is sure some great information on this forum. Glad I found it.
