I have been reliably informed that liquid paraffin can be used and also tubed via the cloaca, but obviously with great care.

Morning Suze
I hope today is a better day for you and Tiggy and that things start moving. I can't add anything else to the advice you have already been given but keeping everything crossed. Mary |

Morning Mary, I think today may bring some encouraging news. We took Tiggy out this morning in a very warm car, well that panicked her, straight away she did a big watery wee with quite a bit of brown stuff in it , and lots of straining , a few days ago her wee was like jelly, so that wasn't right either. I think she may have got very dehydrated . When we got back I cleared a bit more bits out of her tail, so I'm hopeful that things are beginning to move, I suppose it could take a few days. She is more perky today. So I will keep at it, and thanks to all of you for all your ideas and concern. What would we do without SW

Oh that is very encouraging news. I'm so pleased.
I have been watching your posts for the last couple of days eagerly every hour or so to see Tiggy's progress. now things have started moving hopefully it wont be too long before she has a big clear out so to speak. Been thinking of you both.

That's encouraging. Hope she has a great big blow out for you, it will be the first time you welcome poo, and so many people will get relief from it, not just Tiggy.

Still going, bathing, enemas, lactulose etc!!!!! She's no worse, so that's good. She eats a little bit, and she is now doing proper wee, so she must be well hydrated, I think that's what's caused this to happen, dehydration. Slow progress.
