Default Horsfield Pyramiding

I have two of these torts that I have recently had to separate. The small one Larry (that was getting picked on) has signs of pyramiding. It started around a month ago and since then I have bought a new uv light which I thought was the problem. they are fed weeds, pellets and pre alpin. This has nutrabol sprinkled on it. They are bathed everyday and occasional sprayed. any advice please.
thanks

Could we see a picture of your tort, and what substrate do you keep him on, how moist is the substrate , does he have a large enough water dish that he can sit in. You didn't mention calcium , does he have this on his food. Humidity and hydration are key factors in good shell growth, a moist substrate will help with humidity, plus the correct nutrition, plus the right temps.
( the correct combination of conditions )

Ill add a picture shortly, I have from today started using coco fibre bricks (from pets at home) i was using grass pellets previous to that. I have a large water dish but they never use it so i just make sure i bath them every day. I use limestone flour (from the shelled warriors shop).
My temps are 34-35 under basking and 18 everywhere else.
I don't understand why only one tort would have problem when they have the same living conditions.
thanks for your help.

Sounds like your doing a lot of the right things, the only thing I would suggest you adjust is the cooler end temps, 18 is too low, it needs to be 20 to 22 , and try put back the water dish, I don't keep Horsfield so maybe some one with Horsfield can suggest something else, there are loads of Horsfield keepers on here.

Your torts don't look bad at all, eventually the shell will smooth out, I have 1 that was lumpy when I got her, but the new growth is smooth so by the time she's adult she will look a lot smoother x

That's good to hear hopefully the new substrate will help with hydration. Thank you both for your help x

Can I ask you something, what do you think of the coco fibre bricks from P at H , cos I'm thinking of getting some, is it stringy? I have heard it is a bit stringy.

I don't use coco coir, I just use top soil and spray it every day, then give it a good spray and mix in fresh soil with the old every couple of and turn it over using a child's hand rake lol x

As I said only put it down before. But it seems really good, it has hair like fibres in it but not stringy at all. I mixed it with three litres of water and worked a charm x
