I have stuff that is for polytunnels that I bought online a few years back. It allows UV through and is very tough. Not sure if it is meant to keep the heat in but when you lift the section up the heat comes whooshing out but I'm pretty sure it would do that with any kind of cover over the area. I can't remember exactly how much it was (there was a thread on here at the time saying I was ordering it) but £17 rings a bell and with delivery think it was £20 odds. You had to get the full length which I kind of think was 24 feet and possibly 2metres wide. It will all be on here somewhere. I have it stapled to a wooden frame over the wire mesh

I have managed to find the thread and I was right about the price but it's 1 metre x 8 metres, still got plenty left somewhere in the shed. It is in fact Lumisol and this is where I got it 3 years ago http://www.lbsgardenwarehouse.co.uk/...sfile=1&jump=8

Here is the original thread, start at the last page (9) and read back from there http://www.shelledwarriors.co.uk/for...Lumisol&page=9

I'd certainly buy it again. I see on the another thread someone mentioned about light getting through. My stuff is not see-through like clear glass but it's not in the least bit dark under it, it's almost as light as the uncovered area.

This stuff looks good. They do a diffused version and clear one. It seems the diffused one means the light is evenly distributed through the material but there is a very small loss of light as a result.

I see that it's guaranteed uv transmitting for 5 years so presumably it might need to be replaced after that. But it's really quite cheap.

Alan your enclosure is extremely similar to the design being suggested by the tortoise trust!
