surprise surprise... another question!!
Do limestone flour and cuttlefish provide the same thing??
I have a cuttlefish bone in George's enclosure that he likes to chomp on.. Do I need Limestone flour as well or is cuttlefish enough ? Thanks Faye |

Cuttlefish is not as good as limestone flour in my opinion. It is suposed to be harder for the digestive system to use, its generally called a secondary rate calcium for this reason......but it is still worth having as it also keeps beaks nice and trim.

will it be ok to have both in the enclosure at the same time? I also use Nutrobal on the food.

Ok great, I'll keep using Nutrobal, will buy some limestone flour and will leave a small amount of cuttlefish as well..
My hubbys gonna get jealous, the tortoise is more spoilt than him hehe!! x |
