Any ideas what this could be?
These are images taken by the camera on the microscope, 2 are video files. The object that is moving, when we saw it using the microscope lens at 800x we could see tiny filament type 'legs' that were propelling it, unfortunately the camera is not as powerful as the lens we used, so on the video and the photos you can't see them. this object was also transparent, it was amazing to watch!
It was taken from a very very fresh sample kindly donated by a 4 year old Indian Star tortoise. It got stuck next to what we think is a worm egg (looks like the one in the book) and then stopped moving and possibly died. This is a similar one taken from the same sample, the threadlike thing by it, is separate and this one was not moving, so I think it was dead

Flagellates have whip like tails and this doesn't have that. It's some type of protozoa.
