Firstly can I just say that in no way should you take my opinion over the others, they have vastly superior knowledge,

but to me the shape of the anal scutes is slightly different. I can see the top tort's anal scutes opening out in time which would indicate a male.
The top torts tail also looks slightly larger, but as I said, I am no expert! Just really interested in sexing torts!

they are both exactly 84mm or 8.4cm if you prefer

EDIT>> and if behaviour counts for anything, the top one charges around all day and the bottom one likes to rest a lot more
