Default Pacing

Hi guys,

I have made the necessary changes to Tanks indoor enclosure but he still paces.

Once the rain lets up and we can finally finish the outdoor enclosure I have decided he is going out full time. Provided we can get electricity out there then I think he will be much happier with a lot more space to roam around.

Has anyone else experienced this with their torts and if so how have you resolved it, if you have

Thanks
Leila

Hello Leila

I find that when I put my two in there table top ones always pacing up and down, climbing, digging, pushing - I put it down to his little inquisitive character (he's the one that, in 3 weeks of ownership, gone missing twice with his little adventures...

Yeah, Tank escaped as well. If you put him outside he is into everything. Loves exploring.

hi
maybe your tortoise is just trying to get out or in my case my tortoise paced because it was ill with phemonia (sp?) and was stressed but now he is fine as he is 100% better and is more chilled out now,
or your could just be doing that for another reason,
