I remember sleepovers when I was a teen and I'd look the other way throughout the entire film (usually Nightmare on Elm Street), copying my friend's reactions so they didn't notice I wasn't watching. I sat through one film staring at my knees!
I think that's why I like the classics Emma, they're not really scary. I can't watch things like "Saw" I find them too intense and upsetting, I suppose the word I'm looking for is sick.

I agree Wendy. I also hate anyone in a mask. My husband loves The Omen films but I refuse to allow him to have the boxed set. The same goes for the Exorcist.
I'm just a wimp. I love the first two Jaws films but I guess they don't really count in this category.

Emma..... Yesssss!!! The first nightmare on elm street was scary as hell.
The bit where Tina is slithering around in Nancy's dream... in a body bag.

Oh my god I love horror...... MY FAVE!!!!

I liked silent hill, the grudge,the shining, the cave, the descent, the mist, the orphanage, 28 days later, the ring, insidious, hills have eyes, drag me to hell, orphan, eden lake, dawn of the dead, jaws, house of wax, the strangers, the last house on the left, the skeleton key, final destinations, tale of two sisters, saw films....list goes on.

worst scary films... or films i dont find scary and pretty naff....
cabin in the woods... so disapointed!!! rec(s), quarentine, zombieland... list also goes on.

note: its not film quality im bothered about... its the scare factor!!! so if anyone has any films to recommend me... please do i love scary films!

my fave type of scary film... zombies!! but i find most of them disappointing...

I cant wait till the new silent hill film....
