hi sarah. Yes hes wriggling about legs everywhere and the membrane is moving down and looks ragged at the edges now, it looks like it still has quite a lot of yolk left, as its my first egg im not really sure how much its supposed to have left before it hatches.

hi Barbara if you can see any orange in the bottom of the egg that is yolk ,but dont worry .sometimes they will scratch the membrane away inside the egg as they try to escape ,just make sure that the humidity is still constant because if it gets to dry it may have trouble escaping.the trouble is when you check all the time and open the incubator often the humidity can drop very low plus you need to think of the other eggs.oh get the camera out you may need it soon.

The yolk is more to the side of the egg not the bottom and about the size of a one pence.

No still nothing, i know some of them can take longer to hatch but i must admit im starting to worry now.

How far down has the membrane got now Barbara? and can you still see any yolk sack?

The membrane is half way down and the yolk is about 12mm.
