Default 2 Headed Spider Tortoise

Well...1 1/2 heads to be precise.

This is a Pyxis arachnoides oblonga that was produced by my adults around '03. If you look at the first picture you can see a perfectly normal looking face. Normal eye, beak, etc.

The second picture shows the other side with another normal eye, a small non-functional eye and a hypoplastic beak that was not functional either.

Unfortunately, this tortoise was not very strong and only survived about 6 months. I never forget him/her though...
