It looks good, but I think you have the same problem as me regarding a basking light as you dont have alot of height, a member told me to build an A frame over the top with a protective cover for the electrics, maybe you could do the same sort of thing for them chilly days

my male hermans is doing the same at the moment ,although he has a heated cold frame,the others are still quite active/basking/eating.
almost time to dust off the indoor lamps.

I gave in in the end and brought them indoors. Into their table with Arcadia lamp etc. They are both definitely confused by te weather as both bury themselves in te hide. Come out to eat every other day then bury again. Thinking of moving lamp to the end near their hide and adding some extra daylight style lighting to brighten teir world up a bit.

Tortoises not easy are they.

Sounds like a good plan to bring them in. If the weather is poor outside, unless they have had a lot of good weather prior to be 'primed', they just don't seem to adjust to it.
Even when they have been out in nice weather, if there are a few colder days, you just won't see them. But at least they have had some UV/nutrition and taking a 'burrow' break is not an issue.
