Yes, I would be interested to see more detail as we are just about to start building a new indoor pen, that will actually be in an out building, with access to outside (secured inside and out). The one we cobbled together is just not right and I like the look of the lamps on yours.

Do they hibernate in the house?
Yes they hibernate in both Tort Lodge and the Conservatory extension {greenhouse}. Both places are insulated and with deep soil. Heating is regulated to 5 degrees. Hibernation is just a matter of monitoring from September...... Then roll on Spring x x xx x hugs x x x

Thank you.

How deep is the soil?

I would really like to try and let them hibernate more naturally, but we have a high water table, so the greenhouse would be hopeless.

The soil is about four feet deep...... The hole lined with pond liner to keep water out........I can then keep it damp and it doesn't get too wet x x x. Hugs x x
