Vet didn't say what to do if it came out again but spoke to him this morning and tort has enough painkiller to see it through til tomorrow when the vet said he would do procedure again but add the stitch. Prolapse is not ballooned like it was- it is about the size of a a caraway seed- tiny!.Just been advised to keep the prolapse lubricated until I can get appointment tomorrow. Tort has been driving king and eating fine.

Little tort been back to vet, prolapse replaced and stitch put in- fingers crossed for when stitch comes out Friday.

I hope the little mite will be ok. If someone is getting a tort for free I would tell them about this and they can accept the risk, I dont think thats unreasonable.
