Default For Carapace Grace... Heidi

Believe it or not Grace, I think she is doing pretty well. Her plastron was really soft when she arrived, but it has hardened really well. She is very active and mischievious. But as you can see, life in a tiny viv, no uv, no calcium....

Just shows how bad care can lead to deformity.
Good on you for giving this tortoise a second chance, I hope it lives a long happy life with you now, it deserves it

Hi Grace, funnily enough she landed on her back for the first time in the three years I have had her, just the other day. Sadly she couldn't get back up, so I have been trying to make her enclosure more climb proof. The current experiment is leaning her fence inwards so she can't really climb at all. So far so good, but she can be very determined!!
