Sorry to hear your having more trouble but look on the bright side at least your not going to have to live with diabetes for the rest of your life unlike some unlucky people out there

I'm really sorry to hear that, Sarah. But just think, you're using up all your bad luck now, so the rest of your life is going to be all good luck. I had a touch of diabetes when I was pregnant, and I remember them telling me that the baby could possibly be heavier (mine son was 9lb 3oz, so not huge, but not small either). Anyway, I looked this up on the internet, and here's a site with some info on gestational diabetes:

Hi Sarah I know its not easy, I am diabetic Im a rare diabetic that is classed as underweight and have trouble maintaining my weight!
I have two healthy children, so you will get through this ,take care of yourself and listen to what your body tells you,
Bannanas are very good at maintaining sugar levels though not too ripe, if you want any info on diet or anything else please pm me,
I will be happy to help and reassure you,

Boo

Boo snap ive been insulin dependant for over 25 years

Sarah hope you will be okay
the suggested diet will help
raised blood sugars can make a person feel really ill

be prepared for an induced birth a couple of weeks early this is often the case

Hiya Sarah, have you got to check your own blood sugars at home. If you do use the sides of your finger tips rather than the ends as they will get sore if your doing it three times a day. X X X

Oh dear Sarah, you are having a bad time. The only thing I can say is, as soon as the baby is born and in your arms you will forget every bad thing that has gone on.... Good job really or all women would stop at one child!
