River Tours

Thought you all might enjoy a joke...

A guy is walking along by the river when he sees a sign "River Tour $5", so he goes over and says "Hey I'll take the river tour" and hands over his $5. Immediately two guys jump out from behind a bush, tie him up with rope, and throw him in the river where he floats off downstream.
A bit later another guy comes by, pays his $5, and the same thing happens to him. After a while the second guy catches up with the first and says "so, do they have good lunch on this river tour?", "They didn't last year" says the other.

Kate, bad jokes are my forté! I'll try to do better next time.

Here's a nice simple one, you can even tell it to the kids if you have/know any...

A bear walks into a bar and says "I'd like a pint of................................................ ..............beer please", the barman says "OK, but why the big pause?"
