Well let’s hope an MRI will show up everything, it should ! And then hopefully make a proper plan to sort out your infection, it’s about time they got to the bottom of this, enough is enough.

As for your mankini, you’ll need a new , smaller one by Christmas!

Well went to see consultant today and he was new to me but very informative and showed us all the scan results which show clearly where it's all inflamed.
He didn't know what to suggest so went and got the senior surgeon who even though he got a long swab stick right the way in and all sorts of stuff came out decided that we would wait and see what it does and not operate yet.
So I'm now sat waiting to see if I get really ill again with sepsis or not which I'm not sure if I'm too happy with as I'm now just in my head waiting to get ill.

I can imagine that doesn’t make you feel very happy, or confident about the outcome, but I’m sure they have your best interest at the centre of their thinking , in what they are suggesting for the way forward. You just have to trust them, I know that’s not easy. Chin up and all that.

There doesn’t seem to be an easy answer at all to this. I’m really hoping for your sake that there will be no more sepsis and this inflamed area will settle without the need for further surgery.
I’m sure you feel like you’re living in a constant state of limbo, not knowing what is going to happen, and as you’ve had so many infections it must be hard not to think that the same will keep occurring.
I loathe being in limbo for any reason as I think it’s very stressful, so hope you’re looking after your wellbeing as much as you can as everything you’ve had going on this year must have almost totally drained you.
Hope something positive happens very soon.

It's no fun being sick all the time. I wish there was something we could do for you.

Well I'm ok but my wound for some reason is very sore which I'm hoping is just from where he prodded it yesterday.

Yvonne as for doing something just all of you being there is enough for me.

That makes me think of the Friends theme tune!
We’re always here.
