It is easier if you use the panacur paste or granules then you can put it on their food and they can't detect its there and they just eat it.
If using the panacur liquid then you will need to open their mouths and that might be a bit tricky. I've used the liquid and the granules before but am going to try the paste next time. I found getting the dose correct with the granules quite difficult and with the liquid I could get the dose correct but it was tricky getting it in to them. This is the dosage for the liquid http://www.tinytortoises.co.uk/panac...%20charts.html Not sure of the dosage for the others, hopefully someone could advise x

Yeh it might do I've done it like that before. I've injected it into a tomatoe. Some will eat it some smell it and wont.
The granules have no taste or smell so the tortoise do eat them but getting the dosage right is a bit tricky. Alan helped me last time

they are possibly more likely to eat a strawberry than cucumber.
the granules are not that hard to work out, they are in sachets and you work it out by the weight of the animal.. e.g. 0.5g of granules per 1kg of animal (that's an example not the actual dose) and then you just work it out. I think the sachets are 1.8g each so if your animal was 1kg it would be 0.5g of granules obviously but if your animal was 500g it would be 0.25g of granules. 1.8 divided by 0.25 works out to about one seventh of the packet. Easiest way to do it is tip the contents onto a piece of paper and divide it into 7 equal amounts and use one of them. Keep a note of what you have left each time, it won't be exact but near enough. If you have scales that can weigh less than 1g then you don't need all that nonsense granules http://www.nutrecare.co.uk/Product-1...nacur-granules |

the granules are 22% but 2.5, 10, 22, you just need to use the right amount. you would use much less of the 10% than the 2.5%. with the 22% it's a tiny amount you use
