Ed it is possible i missed him, there is one built in hide the adults dont ever use so i dont check (but he probably wouldnt use it either if they dont like it) and the main hide system i cant see into half the bottom layer so i just put my hand in and find the adults/ clean it out. So even though its very unlikely i would miss him its not impossible.
