Amazing Alex, you should be very proud. Id love to see the parents, how many adults do you have & how do you find them to keep?

I would like to say easy to care for but I would be lying. I have found this species a difficult one to keep, rns was a big problem at one time for me. I'm a firm believer that if you get everything right from the go then the care should be simple but I feel they are less tolerant to unfavourable environmental factors then other species. Then again this year I moved them 3-4 times into different enclosure & rooms along with about 4 power cuts during the winter where i had to box the tortoises up over night, and they still went ahead and bred for the first time. I will add some photos of parents etc later, I don't have many good photos actually and the mother was very small 190g. I wasn't intending on breeding from her yet and in fact thought the males she was with were not interested. Thank you. These 2 are very special and will be staying I think. Hopefully next year I will have some available Try messaging Jeff on this forum he may have some available.

Wow amazing the mother has produced at that size, theyre amazing Alex. Look forward to more pictures. I have the chance of some of these, I have been interested for a long while but tbh very nervous of caring for them, I have heard they are very sensitive & I said to a friend I might do a lot of research after my hol & just go for it. Ive only been back a couple of days & have seen quite a few things about them ( without searching ) wierd perhaps its always been there, just catching my eye now.
