Thanks Helen, she definitely doesn't seem to be straining to lay. I will continue to be patient, but I'm slightly worried that the weather might not warm up again.

Nice conclusion.
I was going to say that a vet visit in that situation should be your very last resort. Inducing egg laying can be life threatening.
